Michael Sterling - Entertainment Publicity and Production
Founded in 1980 by entrepreneur Michael Sterling  is most distinguished for his involvement in and representation of not only the live performing arts in Los Angeles, but throughout Southern California.   He is also known for maintaining a small, select group of clients at any one time.  As a result, he is able to provide clients with the amount of time and energy necessary to meet their needs and expectations.

Contrary to the operation of most other publicists and producers, clients do not have to compete for attention as one among hundreds on a company roster.  Whether an account is of considerable size, or "one on the rise," each client is treated with the same hands-on attention and detail in creating stimulating promotions and/or productions which will generate important media publicity and support.
In public relations, Michael's background is wide-ranging and not only includes Entertainment and Sports stars, but Theatre and Music, Literature, Fashion and Beauty; each area blended with innovative ideas with ambitious, strategical planning, and aggressive follow-up.  And, because diplomacy and courtesy are absolute in his communication skills, Sterling is successful in acquiring the most significant and far reaching exposure possible.  Not only does he have years of experience and solidified relations with top tier media in Los Angeles, but a variety of media in primary and secondary cities across the United States and throughout the world.

Sterling Publicity and Production has also become a vital part of LA's cultural landscape. Whether producing and/or directing a timeless Broadway classic such as AnnieThe Sound of Music; an Off-Broadway spoof of Busby Berkeley movie musicals like Dames at Sea; or a headlining cabaret concert engagement with such Broadway, television and film stars as Jersey Boys' Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young (right), Ramin Karimloo, Hal Linden, Faith Prince, Cortes Alexander, with Liza Minnelli and Alison Janney, David Burnham,  Valerie Perri, Jason Graae, Ilene Graff, David Engel, Euan Morton, Lainie Kazan, Disney Academy Award winning composer Richard Sherman or Rachel York..., the combination of Sterling's production and publicity efforts  register as critically acclaimed, award-winning contributions to the live arts scene in Southern California.

Since 2009, Mr. Sterling has served as Host and Co-Producer for Broadway World Television (BWW TV) creating TV content and Red Carpet Coverage for many of LA's most prestigious theatre events such as Kander & Ebb's Chicago the Musical directed by Brook Shields at the Hollywood Bowl in July, 2013.   Meet Brook Shields (below with Michael Sterling) and the stars of Chicago (in a very exclusive back stage, rehearsal setting just prior to the show's opening at the legendary LA landmark.
